The judges thought it was immediately commercial as an Android game, brilliantly quirky, and a great playable effort.

Highly commended was The Dastardly Carillon by Team Five for their incredibly imaginative and distinctive vision and ambition of using 3D art.

From team Lovelace and the game is called, er Lovelace.

It is a love story between Ada and Charles. Ada must collect oil and get to the heart of the Machine which is in fact Charles Babbage’s heart.

There are a series of cogs and oil drops to collect. You move between the cogs, collect the oil, but avoid the water cogs.

The game is Legacy for Posterity. What legacy are *you* going to leave to the world. The Grim has gone on strike and has replaced himself with a clockwork android to do his duties.

You are the android Grim. Your job is to reap famous scientists’ souls. Again, a nice Victoriana look and feel. Ada is in there.

Three levels to complete - if you can get past the first level. Mechanic is all based around cogs and avoiding them.

The game is about death. It’s bloody.
